Coming up in 2021 Georgia will be faced with the issue of redistricting – one that could be very interesting depending on who controls the state’s government.
We’ve seen redistricting battles in neighboring states in recent years and Georgia could be next, particularly should Stacey Abrams win the governorship. Under Georgia law the governor can veto new maps passed by the legislature – a fact that could certainly lead to some major legislative battles.
