Metro Atlanta area 60 Minutes watchers might have remembered a familiar face during the Sunday night staple program. Former linebacker and first-round draft pick for the Falcons Tim Green sat down with 60 Minutes correspondent Steve Kroft to talk about his diagnosis with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, ALS – commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and his plans moving forward.
Green previewed his appearance and made the official announcement last Tuesday on his Facebook page.
