The Southside of Atlanta has long been a target for community activists in Atlanta who have seen much of the city boom over the past twenty years but feel that region is being left behind.
Last week, Invest Atlanta, the city’s development arm, with the support of Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, announced three initiatives focused on increasing small businesses in Southside communities. The new programs will provide support to entrepreneurs and also aim to increase small business activity across the city.
