As Georgia moves toward the 2020’s, cybersecurity continues to be one of the one of the major buzzwords in government and business, and for good reason. Whether it’s the City of Atlanta being hacked and held hostage, gaping digital holes in our state’s election systems, or major companies like Equifax suffering staggering data breaches, the future is upon us when it comes to the need for online protection.
Part of that responsibility falls on the office of the Attorney General, which is why AG Chris Carr has made it a priority to try and help educate Georgians so that they can, as much as possible, take precautions to help keep themselves and their families safe from online predators. Going along with that theme of consumer protection, Carr was interviewed on Metro Atlanta CEO to give a few tips that individuals can use to help stay secure.
