Traveler takes gun through Hartsfield-Jackson

In a story that garnered national headlines over the weekend, a traveler was found to have taken a firearm through security at Hartsfield-Jackson, onto a Delta flight, and across the world to Japan before the weapon was discovered.  TSA authorities have said the gaffe had nothing to do with the shutdown, and indeed the organization’s failure rate has been found to be shockingly high in test studies.  Regardless of how it happened, guns making it through our hometown airport security has the TSA’s ship SINKING…
