Tuesday evening at Buckhead’s Capital Grille James Magazine honored Georgia’s top lobbyists and associations.
Skin Edge receives the ‘Top Lobbyist’ award from IAG CEO Phil Kent
Representatives from some of the state’s top firms took a break from their busy schedules during the legislative session to receive awards from each of James‘ categories in its annual ‘Top Lobbyists’ issue, as well as many members of the James ‘Top Lobbyists’ Hall of Fame. Each year James ranks the state’s top lobbyists, government affairs firms and business/trade associations, primarily based off the results of an online survey sent out to politicos all across the state.
Skin Edge of GeorgiaLink Public Affairs Group was the 2018 winner for ‘Top Registered Lobbyist,’ and he was on hand Tuesday to accept that award as well as GeorgiaLink’s honor as the state’s top governmental affairs firm.
Edge, a former state Senator and Senate Minority Leader, has long been considered one of the state’s most influential figures in government relations, and his recognition as Georgia’s top lobbyist in 2018 is well deserved.
