A candidate forum for Savannah mayoral candidates Wednesday evening is grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons. The event, organized by the Rev. Clarence Teddy Williams, barred white journalists from entry, with signs saying “Black press only” posted on the doors. Audio and video recordings were also disallowed. Proposed Fulton Co. property tax hike
Fulton County homeowners let out a collective groan Monday following the announcement that property taxes will be increasing by more than 12% over the rollback millage rate.
