Brian Kemp signing a Medicaid waiver bill into law to help more Georgians get affordable insurance, followed by a debate over whether “Medicaid for all” would be too expensive. Two controversial topics are broken down, analyzed and discussed: the abortion “heartbeat bill” and the complex airport/airline fuel tax break/transit legislation. Phil & Tharon especially try to predict the outcome of the state airport oversight bill and the fuel exemption with regard to state Senate-House differences. And, of course, debate flares over the Atlanta mayor saying no to an investigation on the hiring of her staff before she took office.
