A federal grand jury on Tuesday handed down a 38-count indictment to Georgia Insurance Commissioner Jim Beck, alleging that he committed fraud. The longtime lobbyist is accused of funneling money from the Georgia Underwriting Association through various fake companies to the Georgia Christian Coalition.
