For years local officials have made promises that street lights were coming to the popular Eastside BeltLine – and now it appears they actually are. The Light the Line initiative started back in 2016, with the goal of installing lights along much of the BeltLine between Krog and Ponce, where dark spots have lead to increased crime. Proposed Fulton Co. property tax hike
Fulton County homeowners let out a collective groan Monday following the announcement that property taxes will be increasing by more than 12% over the rollback millage rate. The hike, per the over the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, is to increase funding for the 2025 General Fund.
