The U.S. Department of Transportation recently released its list of 55 infrastructure projects nationwide slated to receive federal grants – and the Atlanta Beltline was not among them. Fani Willis to skip Senate hearing
Attorneys for Fulton Co. District Attorney Fani Willis say she plans to ignore a pair of subpoenas and skip a scheduled Georgia Senate special committee hearing later today. The move will no doubt enrage GOP lawmakers and set up a courtroom battle, likely in the Georgia Court of Appeals over the legality of Legislature-ordered subpoenas, with Willis’ attorneys arguing they are void because they were issued after the 2024 legislative session.
