As the government continues to work out how best to help the millions of Americans suffering both physically and financially from COVID-19, local businesses are taking some of that burden upon themselves to help their neighbors and communities in their time of need.
Doug Higgins, Metro Atlanta President at United Community Bank, made a video with Georgia CEO this week to talk about some of the ways the bank is working with its commercial customers to help them navigate these tough times. From practical aid such as changing payment schedules and offering additional credit as needed, to offering advice on how small businesses need to adapt to the current circumstances, Higgins says UCB knows that a rising tide will lift all ships.
