The Georgia Department of Transportation has been selected as the 2020 NOCoE (National Operations Center of Excellence) TSMO Awards Overall Winner, winning out over 45 other entries from around the U.S. The award recognizes GDOT’s advancement in the expanding discipline of transportation systems management and operations, specifically its development of a traffic data management and reporting system built around automated traffic signal performance measures that saves the state hundreds of hours in staff time and $250,000 per year. Proposed Fulton Co. property tax hike
Fulton County homeowners let out a collective groan Monday following the announcement that property taxes will be increasing by more than 12% over the rollback millage rate.
