The Georgia Department of Transportation has been selected as the 2020 NOCoE (National Operations Center of Excellence) TSMO Awards Overall Winner, winning out over 45 other entries from around the U.S. The award recognizes GDOT’s advancement in the expanding discipline of transportation systems management and operations, specifically its development of a traffic data management and reporting system built around automated traffic signal performance measures that saves the state hundreds of hours in staff time and $250,000 per year. Loeffler to head SBA
Former U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler was the latest Georgian to be tapped by President-elect Donald Trump for a key role in his upcoming administration, in this case to head up the Small Business Administration.
