Georgia’s latest pro sports team is here – but it’s not playing in, or anywhere near, Atlanta.  The Columbus Rapids are an indoor soccer team set to become one of four founding members of the National Indoor Soccer League (NISL), where it will field both  men’s and women’s teams.  The teams will play at the Columbus Civic Center, which is where both league and city officials gathered this week to announce the team’s formation.  The Rapids join the Lions (arena football), River Dragons (ice hockey), and Roller Girls (roller derby) as Columbus’ fourth professional team – for local sports fans the news has ships RISING…
