Former Brunswick District Attorney Jackie Johnson was indicted by a Glynn County grand jury last week on charges of obstructing a police officer, a misdemeanor, and violating her oath of office, a felony, while overseeing the investigation around the fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arbery in February of last year. One of the men involved in that shooting, Greg McMichael, had previously worked for Johnson and called her immediately after the incident. Proposed Fulton Co. property tax hike
Fulton County homeowners let out a collective groan Monday following the announcement that property taxes will be increasing by more than 12% over the rollback millage rate.
