The fuel-based ecosystem for vehicles is almost an afterthought in modern society – the gas stations, refueling lines, and all the infrastructure that goes into supporting it is old hat.  But for the imminent electric vehicle revolution, an entirely new ecosystem is being developed, and smart companies are getting in on the ground floor.

One of those is Georgia Power, who has jumped headfirst into the development of the web of charging stations that is continuously being built out across the state to serve the needs of an ever-growing fleet of EVs, already 30,000 strong.

Jason Cuevas, East Region Vice President for Georgia Power talked with Georgia CEO this week about all the ways his company is working with customers, car makers, and municipalities to ensure the state is prepared for the cars of the future.
