Clayton County school officials are making it their mission to enroll more children in pre-kindergarten programs – pointing to it as a key indicator of future academic success. Currently the school system has about 3,600 kindergarten students, but only about 1,000 in pre-K. Proposed Fulton Co. property tax hike
Fulton County homeowners let out a collective groan Monday following the announcement that property taxes will be increasing by more than 12% over the rollback millage rate. The hike, per the over the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, is to increase funding for the 2025 General Fund.
