The sole finalist for the vacant DeKalb County Schools superintendent position is drawing controversy after he labeled himself a “disruptor” and an “anti-racist” at his previous gig in Chicago.  Devon Horton faced lawsuits at his last job over his district’s “equity training,” which many teachers felt carried a notable anti-white narrative.  He now seeks to head to a district 14 times bigger than his previous one and in a state less amenable to “equity” pushes.  It has also been noted that Horton has declared personal bankruptcy twice and awarded business partners with no-bid government contracts worth more than $150,000.  Horton doesn’t even officially have the job yet but already his tenure is DRIFTING…
