Atlanta parents were surprised when it was announced that Atlanta Public Schools Superintendent Lisa Herring would not have her contract renewed once it expires in June of 2024. Proposed Fulton Co. property tax hike
Fulton County homeowners let out a collective groan Monday following the announcement that property taxes will be increasing by more than 12% over the rollback millage rate. The hike, per the over the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, is to increase funding for the 2025 General Fund.
