Georgia’s 6th Congressional District flipped solidly red after 2020’s redistricting, with Republican Rich McCormick defeating Democrat Bob Christian by 25 points in the general election.  Some thought that the suburban Atlanta district could become purple down the road – but not for several election cycles at least.  But now Democrats are eying the seat after a Supreme Court ruling resulted in thrown out congressional maps in Alabama.  If Georgia is forced to redraw its maps then all of a sudden CD-6 could be back up for grabs.  Cobb County Commissioner Jerica Richardson is already eying the seat, and other notable Dems are watching closely.  A court ruling could have the 6th District’s GOP control DRIFTING…
