A pair of soul music legends will help inaugurate the brand new Stockbridge Amphitheater when it opens on September 25th. Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle are scheduled to perform at the Henry County amphitheater, which has been under construction for nearly two years. The 3,200 seat venue is the lynchpin of Stockbridge’s initiative to bring more culture and tourism to the city, and sits directly behind City Hall. Tickets for the concert – sure to be a sellout – go on sale on August 30th.
