Union City Mayor to head national org

The recent decision by the Georgia Supreme Court to no longer hear (most) murder appeals has led to criticism and debate, particularly from the state Court of Appeals, which will now handle those cases.  Court of Appeals judges say their staffs are already stretched thin, and that such a move would require the legislature to significanltly increase funding and staffing within the Nathan Deal Judicial Center.  The move leaves Georgia’s court system DRIFTING…
