The Georgia Chamber continued its “New Georgia Economy Tour” last week with a stop at Middle Georgia State University in Macon, where representatives met with local officials and business owners to discuss the difficulties and successes found in the changing post-pandemic economy.  One big issues facing Middle Georgia businesses is workforce shortages – how do we make sure we have enough professionals to fill roles in industries like healthcare?  That’s a question that the Chamber ponders every day as it continues to make its way around the state.
