Just a few months ago, Senate Republicans launched a partnership with former U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler’s Greater Georgia – a voter mobilization group – that was designed to preserve and grow their party’s majority in the Senate. Monday, one of the committees created through that partnership – Citizens for a Greater Georgia – launched its outreach campaign to mobilize women across the state.

Women for a Greater Georgia is being chaired by former State Representative Meagan Hanson. The group will be coordinating with state and local campaigns to host a series of events in key target districts and counties outside the metro area. The statewide campaign will conduct targeted outreach by phone, text, digital ads and mail, focusing on newly registered, disengaged and disenfranchised voters.

“In contrast to the portrayal by the media and Washington politicians, not every strong American woman is a liberal,” said Loeffler. “They are proud mothers, businesswomen and community leaders – who want to protect the American Dream, and to restore security and opportunity for their families.”

“Women for a Greater Georgia is engaging with women across our state, welcoming their voices in the conservative movement, and mobilizing them ahead of November. With women representing over 52% of registered voters, we will determine Georgia’s future – a future that is red, from the State Senate to the top of the ticket,” Loeffler added.

Last month, Citizens for a Greater Georgia announced that it has made over 200,000 voter contacts since launching its statewide field program in June. The program is anchored by two-dozen paid field operatives. Of the 200,000 reached, 46,522 voters were reached at their homes and 156,165 voters were reached by phone.

This committee is following the model built by Loeffler, which has reported tremendous success since its inception. According to Loeffler, data from the 2022 midterm elections showed that conservatives have experienced “a significant resurgence in participation and mobilization, particularly compared to the last midterm election in Georgia.”

Loeffler, said that Conservative turnout in the 2022 Primary increased by 98 percent over the 2018 primary, exemplified by triple-digit increases in voting by diverse communities.
