America’s most common nightmare has come to Georgia. At least one person died Monday in a shooting near Phoenix High school in Lawrenceville. Early reports indicated that at least two Phoenix students may have been involved. The saddest thing of all about these shootings is that there is often almost literally nothing that can be done to prevent them. However, there are already indications that the communities of Phoenix High and Lawrenceville already are rallying to support the family and friends of everyone involved in this tragedy. Here’s to those who are RISING to the occasion in this sad episode.
