In a move that elicited more groans than anything else, former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms officially announced her 2026 Georgia gubernatorial campaign on Friday. Last seen in the Biden Administration, Bottoms has been heavily criticized for her COVID-era leadership, most notably in the fallout of the Rayshard Brooks incident when armed protestors took over a city block and eventually killed an eight year old girl riding in a vehicle that was trying to avoid them. Could Paramount be coming to Georgia?
Paramount Skydance, one of the biggest and most prominent entertainment companies in the world, is furious at its home state of California over a lawsuit filed by the state’s attorney general attempting to stop a merger. In response, Chair David Ellison has threatened to move from Los Angeles to a state not actively suing his company, and Georgia was on the shortlist of possibilities. Gov.
