Sandy Springs-based shipping giant UPS finds itself on uneven footing after the announcement that it will cut 20,000 jobs amidst a “cutback” to its relationship with Amazon and concerns over consumer demand and the economy.  The company will also shut down 73 leased and owned buildings, with plans to cut costs by about $3.5 billion in 2025.  CEO Carol Tomé put a positive spin on the situation, calling it an opportunity to “reconfigure our network” and consolidate facilities, but in the short term UPS finds itself SINKING…
