As Atlanta officials begin to work on the fiscal year 2026 budget, there are some concerns that Mayor Andre Dickens and the city council might not be on the same page.  It was recently announced that the city was looking at a projected $33 million deficit heading into budget season which Dickens said would have to be addressed by layoffs or departmental cuts.  But his first proposed budget actually increases spending by 14%, leaving some city councilmembers scratching their heads and urging caution while pointing to a shaky economic outlook.  DRIFTING…
