A South Georgia mayor, along with two former elections officials, was arrested and charged with a felony stemming from an attempt last November to stop a city council election.  Camilla Mayor Kelvin Owens closed polling places and posted signs both online and at City Hall saying that a local city council race had been cancelled, trying to protect the seat of a city councilman who had previously been disqualified from the race.  A federal judge ordered elections reopened, and polls stayed open until nearly 4am.  SINKING…
