Last night’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game capped off a week of festivities in Cobb County in and around Truist Park.  But politicians on both sides of the aisle couldn’t help but look back at the 2021 game, which was pulled out of Atlanta due to protests over the state’s new elections laws.  Four years later and those laws haven’t changed, but the game is back, leaving state Rep. Derrick Jackson, a candidate for governor, openly wondering why the league had a change of heart?  Meanwhile his Dem rivals in Keisha Lance Bottoms and state Sen. Jason Esteves declined to comment on the matter.  On the other side of the aisle, U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk praised the decision to return to Georgia, praising the league for “righting a wrong that shouldn’t have happened.”  Political reactions to the game’s return are DRIFTING…
