Next Friday, August 29th, is every Parrot Head’s favorite holiday: Jimmy Buffett Day! And where better to celebrate it than Margaritaville at Lanier Islands? This Jimmy Buffett Day the resort is celebrating by hosting a “Day of Service” to raise money for Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, a nonprofit that is dedicated to protecting and preserving the Chattahoochee River, including it’s lakes (such as Lake Lanier). A portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold to Fins Up Water Park on Friday will go to Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, and similarly every night booked through the “Keep The Party Going Package” at Camp Margaritaville Lanier Island will help the nonprofit as well.
