U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-GA, led other Democratic members of Georgia’s delegation in efforts to reverse the Trump Administration actions to cancel grants that he said “helped underserved communities across Georgia access digital internet devices.

Ossoff, Rep. David Scott, Sen. Raphael Warnock, Rep. Nikema Williams, Rep. Lucy McBath, Rep. Hank Johnson, and Rep. Sanford Bishop are all pressing the U.S. Department of Commerce to reverse the cancellation of the State Digital Equity Capacity Grant Program and the Digital Equity Competitive Grant Program, both of which were funded through the bipartisan infrastructure law.
