Georgia Tech has received its largest-ever donation, a whopping $100 million, from the late John W. Durstine.  The gift will go to the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, of which Durstine is an alumnus, having graduated in the 1950s.  He later made his fortune working for Ford Motor Company in Michigan, but never forgot his alma mater and the world-renowned engineering school that gave him his start.  And now even after his passing, Durstine’s generous gift will help ensure that Georgia Tech’s mechanical engineering program is RISING…
