DA Willis barred from further Trump prosecution

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willi suffered a humiliating blow yesterday by being permanently sidelined from prosecuting President Donald Trump’s alleged “election interference” case in Georgia after she lost an appeal to the state’s Court of Appeals. 

The appeals court ruled in December that Willis and her office could not continue to prosecute the case, citing an "appearance of impropriety" stemming from her sexual relationship involving her special prosecutor Nathan Wade that was exposed to the public. The Democrat DA appealed to the state Supreme Court in January, but the high court refused to take up the case. So now her final chapter has been written. Willis has been stopped from prosecuting the president.
