The chairmen of Georgia's Republican, Libertarian and Constitution parties yesterday demanded an “immediate dismissal of charges” against three Republican alternate presidential electors, calling their indictment by disgraced Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis “unlawful and politically motivated.” A joint statement declared they are “united in the belief” that the presidential electors acted lawfully during the controversy over what candidate carried Georgia in the 2020 presidential election 

The trio also calls on the Prosecuting Attorneys Council to extend an apology to them on behalf of the state of Georgia. Many Republicans— along with President Donald Trump— are further demanding that the 11 other Republican electors charged by Willis be exonerated.
