Launched in 1980 by the Georgia legislature, the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) is the state’s technology startup incubator. A program of Georgia Tech, ATDC works with entrepreneurs in the state to mentor, launch, scale and succeed in the growth and creation of new tech-based companies. This year, seventeen new companies have joined the ranks of ATDC graduates, the largest “class” in the history of the program. The number this year brings the total number of graduated startups to 248 since its founding.
“This year’s graduating class reflects the dynamic range of industries where Georgia excels and continues to attract innovation,” said John Avery, ATDC’s director. “These companies are advancing meaningful solutions and building on our 45-year legacy as the state’s premier launchpad for startup success.”
