Georgia’s most haunted house is really more of an office building, but that doesn’t make it any less scary. Stone Mountain’s Netherworld Haunted House has been a Peach State fixture since 1997, and it’s one of the most popular horror attractions in the Southeast every fall. With multiple different attractions, movie-quality effects and sets and more than 500 seasonal employees, Netherworld has frightened Georgians for generations and racked up dozens of awards, consistently being named among the spookiest haunted events nationwide. Netherworld is open nightly through early November, so still plenty of time to get into the Halloween spirit in Stone Mountain.
