Every spring, onion lovers from across the country gather in Vidalia, Georgia during the harvest of the state’s official vegetable – the Vidalia onion – for the aptly named Vidalia Onion Festival. This year’s edition, scheduled for April 25-26, will feature something for airplane lovers as well, when the U.S. Navy Blue Angels perform their famous air show at the onion festival. The renowned United States Navy flight demonstration squadron will take to the skies in their trademark blue and yellow F-18s to put on a show for attendees, putting on a thrilling performance of formation and solo maneuvers. Vidalia onions and the Blue Angels – does it get any better than that?
