Georgia Chamber releases annual Redbook

For those interested in Georgia economic data and trends, there are few resources like the Georgia Chamber’s annual Economic Competitiveness Redbook. The 2026 edition is the fourth year of publication for the guide to Georgia’s economic achievements and a resource for business and legislators. 

The Redbook provides a number of state-by-state comparisons and county-level data on a range of data for all 159 of Georgia’s counties. The Redbook is also a chance for the Georgia Chamber to tout many of their initiatives and goals. There is certainly little to argue with about Georgia’s recent economic growth success, ranking 12th nationally for GDP growth, ranks 8th for tax burden and – something that matters for large business - second for most affordable utility rates.
