In a bipartisan move, U.S. Rep. Rick Allen, R-GA, and his Democratic colleague Rep. Lucy McBath, are working to advance legislation that they say would increase access to care for current and former energy workers. H.R. 4122, the Health Care for Energy Workers Act, would benefit over 10,000 Georgia energy workers, including many employed at Plant Vogtle and the Savannah River Site.

The legislation advanced through the House Committee on Education and Workforce late last week.
