As campaign season ramps up, the National Rifle Association (NRA) is hitting the trail with its Gun Bus Battleground Tour, where it will visit 13 battleground states backing candidates it says are staunch defenders of the 2nd Amendment. Norwood endorses Jackson
Atlanta City Councilwoman Mary Norwood has given her endorsement to Republican candidate for governor Rick Jackson, a move that’s not necessarily surprising, but is notable. Norwood lost a runoff for Atlanta mayor to Keisha Lance Bottoms back in 2017 by only 800 votes, showing her popularity in Atlanta, particularly up in Buckhead where there’s a large swathe of GOP and independent voters.
