Early voting in the 2026 Midterm election is less than a week away, and candidates are working to get endorsements that will help push them across the finish line. Tuesday, Republican Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper picked up several endorsements from across party lines.
Harper said he believes the endorsements from Democratic State Sen. Freddie Powell Sims and Democratic State Rep. Pattie Marie Stinson highlight his leadership, experience, and record of delivering results for all Georgians. As Commissioner, Harper says he has focused on building relationships across the aisle and in communities around the state to serve Georgia farmers and consumers as effectively as possible.
“Supporting Georgia agriculture is not a partisan issue, and I am proud to have a bipartisan coalition of Georgians supporting my campaign for re-election,” said Harper. “In today’s political climate, it takes real courage to endorse across party lines, I’m deeply grateful to Sen. Sims and Rep. Stinson for their support, endorsement, and longtime friendship. I’m proud to have them supporting my campaign, and I will continue to work with Republicans and Democrats alike to deliver for Georgia farmers and consumers.”
“Coming from a rural district, I understand how important the success of our #1 industry is to the success of our state,” said Rep. Stinson, from Butler, Ga. “When I call Tyler Harper, he answers, and when farmers in my district need support, Tyler delivers. He is the only candidate with the leadership and experience needed to lead our state’s No. 1 industry, that’s why I am voting Tyler Harper for Agriculture Commissioner this fall and I’m encouraging all Georgians in HD-150 to do the same.”
“I have known Tyler Harper for over a decade, and while we come from different backgrounds, we have built a strong bond and friendship over our shared passion for Georgia Agriculture,” said Sen. Freddie Powell Sims, from Albany. “Tyler has built relationships across the aisle and around the state that make him an incredibly effective Commissioner and advocate for Georgia farmers. I am proud to give Tyler my full support and endorsement, and I want to encourage all voters in SD-12 to vote Tyler Harper this fall.”
Harper faces Democrat Katherine Juhan-Arnold is the November 3rd election.
