Dates set for special election to fill MTG seat

Special elections to replace three Republicans

This month Georgia voters in two state legislative districts will go to the polls in what will be low-turnout elections. Tomorrow is a runoff to decide who will fill the remaining term of the late state Rep. Mandi Ballinger, R-Canton. Conservative Republican Bill Fincher received 27.4 percent of the vote for the District 23 House seat in a campaign that included four other Republican candidates.
