ATLANTA — Next week, televisions across Georgia will feature ads by a political newcomer attacking three congressmen in the Republican Senate primary for missing votes while serving in the House of Representatives and being “missing in action.”
Eugene Yu, an Augusta businessman, plans to air ads in Augusta, Savannah, Atlanta, Columbus and Macon accusing Jack Kingston, Paul Broun and Phil Gingrey of all missing a greater percentage of votes than Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid at 1.1 percent. Of course, Reid gets to schedule the votes in the Senate and can have them at his own convenience.
