Snow Job?

Enough already. Most Georgians — and apparently plenty of folks beyond our borders — justifiably believe state and many local officials didn’t respond to last week’s winter storm with enough urgency. Fair enough. From the governor on down, officials need to do better next time. On the other hand, if a bundle of taxpayer money had been spent on salting the roads, and then the storm had sidestepped the Atlanta region, the same media critics would have been laughing at the expensive over-reaction by those panicky Southerners. It seems to us that the only thing RISING right now is the temperature. Time to move on.
