Here are some quick final thoughts:

  • Look for early returns to show Perdue, Kingston, and Broun performing the best in the Senate race. Metro-Atlanta will come in late but that’s where Karen Handel might have a chance to overtake Kingston for the coveted second place runoff position.
  • We still don’t know how or when counties will count and report early votes. That could really skew the look of the early returns tonight.
  • Hank Johnson could be in line for a really tight race in the 4th Congressional District
  • Governor Deal should come close to or break the 80% range. Anything under 70% would spell some future trouble, but I don’t see that happening tonight.
  • Based on our polling, if we take out the undecided here is how tonight might end up: Perdue 28%

Handel 21%

Kingston 21%

Gingrey 15%

Broun: 14%

Other: 1%
