Atlanta seems to have been caught in something of a crime wave in recent months, and Mayor Kasim Reed is taking steps to confront the problem. At a town hall meeting Tuesday night, Reed heard questions and stories from midtown residents concerned over the uptick in robberies and carjackings the area has seen over the summer. Proposed Fulton Co. property tax hike
Fulton County homeowners let out a collective groan Monday following the announcement that property taxes will be increasing by more than 12% over the rollback millage rate.
