Cobb County’s Lockheed Martin received some very good news over the holidays – a $5.3 billion order from the federal government for 78 C-130J Super Hercules transport planes. Georgia lawmakers back the Braves
As the Atlanta Braves continue their playoff battle with the LA Dodgers, a group of Georgia lawmakers are backing them in a battle of their own. U.S. Reps. Brian Jack and Lucy McBath, along with U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock, have introduced legislation to extend a provision in the 2021 American Rescue Plan that would allow publicly traded organizations – like the Braves – to treat some of their high-salaried players like executives as a normal business would.
