The battle over State Rep. Allen Peake’s HB 722, which would allow for medical marijuana to be grown in the state for use by people with one of a handful of pre-approved maladies, heated up this week as supporters rallied at the State Capitol to support it. Proposed Fulton Co. property tax hike
Fulton County homeowners let out a collective groan Monday following the announcement that property taxes will be increasing by more than 12% over the rollback millage rate. The hike, per the over the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, is to increase funding for the 2025 General Fund.
