After much wringing of hands, the Georgia Democratic Party seems to have found its man to challege incumbent Johnny Isakson in the form of investment manager Jim Barksdale.  While he has little political experience, Barksdale brings to the table a fortune earned over his years in business, enabling him to self-fund to a degree reminiscent of recently elected Senator David Perdue.  He’ll need that money, as Isakson has already accumulated an impressive war chest over the past year.  The Dems have a face, but from here it still looks like their prospects of stealing the seat are DRIFTING…
